I am a British born, native English speaker and I have lived in France and Portugal for the past sixteen years. I am an experienced celebrant providing symbolic wedding ceremonies in the Cascais, Lisbon and Mafra areas.

I have been a celebrant for 8 years - a job that I love! It's a priviledge to play a part in one of the most important days in a couple's lives. Prior to becoming a celebrant, I had a varied and interesting career.  All the jobs that I've had to some extent required public speaking and speech writing, e.g. on TV and radio for the Woodland Trust, giving presentations to boards of trustees at the American Library in Paris, SITA Trust and BASF and teaching Business English to rooms full of business professionals at Procter and Gamble, MSD International and Excitos. I have organised and compered large events and fundraising galas.
